Onireti was the House of Representatives candidate on the platform of PDP in Ogbomoso North/ Ogbomoso South/ Oriire federal constituency in 2023. DAILY POST reports that Onireti left PDP a few days ago. The former reps candidate he has been appointed to lead the grassroots mobilisation structure championing reelection of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027. His appointment was announced by the movement’s Director-General, Mr Francis Shoga, in Abuja on Tuesday. Shoga noted that he was chosen based on his “wide political network' in the state. Onireti in his reaction, expressed gratitude for the confidence reposed in him. He also pledged to deploy his experience to advance the objectives of the movement. He said, “I am committed to galvanising our structures and ensuring that Oyo State remains a stronghold for the ideals we stand for'.
