Webfala Digital Skills for All Initiative (WDSFAI), a non-profit organization, has trained 25 fellows on issues related to child online safety and data protection. The fellows participated in a two-week training program covering digital literacy, online ethics, privacy, data protection, and strategies for combating cyberbullying and misinformation. They will now visit schools in Kwara state to educate students on online safety and responsible digital engagement.

The fellows participated in two weeks of training covering digital literacy, online ethics, privacy and data protection, as well as strategies for combating cyberbullying and misinformation.The graduation ceremony of the fellows took place on Thursday in Ilorin, the Kwara state capital. Bakare said the fellows will also teach students fact-checking techniques and the process of critical thinking to help them navigate the online space responsibly.“For two weeks, we invited experienced facilitators and professionals in digital media, online safety, data protection, and cybersecurity to train our fellows through skill-building workshops,” she said.

“This programme is more than just a fellowship; it’s a movement toward building a safer, more informed, and proactive digital community.
