Backstreet Boys singer, Nick Carter, has mourned the loss of his brother, Aaron, following the latter’s death on Saturday.Following the unfortunate incident, Nick took to Twitter on Sunday to express his sadness over Aaron’s death.

While sharing throwback photos of both brothers, the singer stated that despite their complicated relationship, he had always loved his brother and wished him recovery from his addiction.“My heart is broken,” he wrote. “Even though my brother and I have had a complicated relationship, my love for him has never ever faded.

“I have always held on to the hope that he would somehow, someday want to walk a healthy path and eventually find the help that he so desperately needed.” While the cause of death has not been made public, Nick has placed blame on “addiction and mental illness” in his tweets. “Sometimes we want to blame someone or something for a loss, but the truth is that addiction and mental illness are the real villains here. I will miss my brother more than anyone will ever know. I love you baby brother,” he said. All rights reserved.
