Youths of the All Progressives Congress, APC , in Zamfara State have asked Governor Dauda Lawal to use the state's resources for the benefit of the citizens. The APC youths wondered why the governor did not set up a Judicial Commission of Inquiry to try the immediate past governor, Dr Bello Matawalle, for alleged corruption. According to them, there is also no subsisting court judgement that restrained the EFCC from investigating, arresting and prosecuting Matawalle.

The youths also called on the EFCC and relevant anti-graft agencies to go after contractors that failed to execute contracts that have been paid for by previous governments. They warned the PDP administration against engaging in a campaign of calumny against members of the APC in the state. 'We are alarmed by the waste of Zamfara State scarce resources by Governor Lawal,' the youth group said in a statement signed by Abubakar Ibrahim Gusau, its chairman.
