The State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Zamfara State Command, Commandant Mohammed Bello Muazu, has affirmed the commitment
and readiness of the Corps to ensure a smooth conduct of the forthcoming gubernatorial and State Assembly elections in collaboration with other sister agencies.
Muazu averred that the Corps is in high spirits and have made strategic deployments based on population and vulnerability of registration areas to insecurity for the purpose of the March 18th elections. He also said that the Corps has provided about 10 hotlines across the senatorial zones that could easily be reached in the advent of any perceived threat or emergency in addition to the operation room and network created by the Corps where all information are being synchronized directly from the 14 local government areas of the state during the elections.
