Considering the insecurity challenges affecting Zamfara State, the state government has suspended all political activities until further notice.Dosara said the government was saddened and worried about the resurgence of the activities of bandits and the recent killings of some innocent people in several Local Government Areas in the state.
He said, “This is to inform the general public that, following the recent spate of attacks on some communities across some Local Government Areas of the state and the rising cases of kidnapping in the communities as well as along some major roads in the state, the government has considered and approved some recommendations by the Security Council aimed at curtailing the activities of the hoodlums.
“The government is saddened and worried about the resurgence of the activities of bandits and the recent killings of some innocent people in Gusau, Tsafe, Gummi, Bukkuyum, Anka Bungudu, Maru, Maradun and Kaura Namoda Local Government Areas. “The government, therefore, condoled the families of the victims of the bandits’ attacks and prayed for the repose of the departed souls.
