The biennial global road safety campaign brings together individuals, governments, CSO’s and other stakeholders from around the world to deliberate on best practices for road usage.

The Sector Commander, Zamfara State, Iro Danladi said the theme for this year’s Global Road Safety Week is “Sustainable Transport” Danladi spoke through a press statement signed and issued to newsmen in Gusau, the State capital by the Command’s Public Education Officer Route Commander, Yasir Shehu. He explained that the Command organizes activities for the whole week, including a press conference, a workshop for stakeholders, hospital visitations, Mosque and Church advocacies among others, pointing out that, the activities bring together road users and other stakeholders in the country.
