The lawmakers are accused of forcefully breaking into the office of Sergeant-at-Arms and the office of the Clerk to the House of Assembly.
The Zamfara State Government has filed a direct criminal complaint against eight suspended members of the state House of Assembly before Justice Rukubatu Aliyu Kanoma of the Magistrate Court sitting in Gusau.The eight suspended members are Shamsudeen Hassan, Faruk Musa Dosara, Nasiru Abdullahi Maru, Bashir Aliyu Gummi, Bashiru Bello Bungudu, Amiru Ahmad Keta, Ibrahim Tukur and Bashiru Abubakar
Other charges are; “invading the Zamfara State House of Assembly illegally searching for the mace to perpetrate shady and an unlawful plenary sitting, forcefully broke into the Zamfara State Legislative Chambers and destroyed valuable properties belonging to Zamfara State House of Assembly.”
