Zamfara APC reacts to monarchs’ remand in prison custody, suspension by State Govt

The affected monarchs are the district head of Kanwa in Zurmi Local Government Area, Alhaji Bello Kanwa , and the district head of Bakura in Bakura Local Government Area of the state, Alhaji Bello Yusuf .

According to the state chairman of the party, Alhaji Lawal Liman Laura, two APC members, an ex -commissioner, Alhaji Bello Dankande and spokesman for the party in the state, Alhaji Ibrahim Danmaliki, Gidan Goga were remanded in prison custody by a Gusau court for offences the state government accused the opposition party of masterminding .

Kaura noted that the ruling Peoples Democratic Party in the state had shown that it had no regard for the traditional institution following the suspension of the district heads .
