Your Commitment To Success Must Not Waiver, Makinde Tells Appointees.

Governor Makinde further stressed the need for political appointees and top officials of the state civil service to work in harmony.

The governor said, “We are making a pact with you that the current administration will empower you. We will give you those responsibilities. We will give you the authority to carry them out but we demand from you accountability.” “So, my appeal to everybody is, come with me, let us create a new prosperous Oyo State together and God will help us,” he added.On measures being put in place to develop the state, Governor Makinde explained that his administration has a 20-year agenda to save Oyo from underwhelming performances.

Governor Makinde said, “We have been underachieving for many years … within the shortest possible time, we have to put in place a strategic development plan for Oyo State.
