Some traditional rulers have flooded the Cour De’appal De Cotonou, the Beninise court venue for the trial of the Yoruba nation freedom fighter, Sunday Igboho on Monday.
The Yoruba-speaking supporters in the Benin Republic and from Nigeria are in court to show solidarity with Igboho ahead of his arrival in court. A Yoruba rights group, Isokan Omo Odua, has also mobilised supporters for the embattled Yoruba activist as a sign of solidarity, the Nation reports.As of the time of filing this report, Igboho had yet to arrive at the court.Also, there was no heavy security presence at the entrance of the court.
