Residents of Ngojin and Nahuta communities in Yobe State have cried out over the untold hardship they have been facing since the collapse of a major bridge linking them to Potiskum, a popular town in the state.A resident of the area, Tikau Maria, said that they had been sending appeals to the authorities for urgent intervention but nothing had been done till this moment.He said, “We have been talking and appealing but nothing has been done.
The collapse of the bridge has also affected residents of other communities in the state including Lafiya, Gadamaji, Garin Gote, Jajere-Anguwar Fulani, Njafuwa, Garin Ardo, Tikau Maria, Zamani, Gandafura and Farsawa.
