Nigeria's independent online newspaper
Yiaga Africa says it is sending a “high-level election study mission” to Liberia for the country’s 2023 general election scheduled for October 10.
Itodo said the mission is part of Yiaga Africa Transforming Electoral Governance in Africa initiative which is designed to transform electoral governance “through evidence-based learning, documentation, and advocacy”. Itodo said Sharafadeen Alli, chair of the senate committee on Independent National Electoral Commission ; Bayo Balogun, chairman of house of representatives committee on electoral matters; and Asmau Maikudi, a former INEC resident electoral commissioner are also part of the delegation.
