Yahoo Yahoo: Court remands 25-year-old UNIPORT undergraduate for internet fraud

money by false pretense following his arraignment by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.

The defendant was arraigned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC, Port Harcourt’s Zonal office March 10, 2020 on a four count charges of internet fraud. Justice Obile ordered that the defendant be remanded in the Port Harcourt Correctional Centre pending determination of bail application while the matter was adjourned till April 6, 2020.
