Yahoo Boys Bag Three Months Of Community Service In Ilorin
Justice Sikiru Oyinloye of Kwara State High Court, Ilorin on Thursday, August 7, 2020 convicted and sentenced the duo of Akinola Opeyemi and Owolabi Olajide to three months of community service for internet fraud.
The convicts were prosecuted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission , Ilorin Zonal Office on separate one-count charge of cheating and impersonation to which they pleaded guilty. Analysis of iPhones and laptops recovered from the convicts, yielded fraudulent email addresses and messages, which the convicts confessed to be theirs.
