Yahaya Bello, governor of Kogi, has approved the reappointment of five aides who resigned their positions to contest in the governorship primary election of the All Progressives Congress (APC) which held on April 14.

June 19, 2023 10:59 PMYahaya Bello, governor of Kogi, has reappointed five members of his cabinet who resigned their positions to contest in the governorship primary election of the All Progressives Congress which was held on April 14.

Those reappointed include Asiwaju Ashiru, commissioner for finance, budget and economic planning; Deedat Ozigi, commissioner for local government and chieftaincy affairs; Abdulkareem Jamiu, chief of staff; Jubrin Momoh, accountant general and Yakubu Okala, auditor general of the state. He added that the governor reiterated his commitment and determination to ensure that all ongoing projects in the state are completed before the end of his administration.
