Former Kogi Governor Yahaya Bello was seen dancing at the palace of the Ohinoi of Ebiraland. This event comes as Bello faces a 16-count charge of alleged money laundering.
Yahaya Bello , the former governor of Kogi state, was recently spotted dancing at the palace of the Ohinoi of Ebiraland. A viral video shows Bello and his successor, Usman Ododo, dancing alongside the traditional ruler to a song performed by a group of men. This lighthearted moment comes amidst ongoing legal proceedings against Bello. He is facing a 16-count charge of alleged money laundering to the tune of N110 billion.
Bello and his co-defendants were arraigned on November 27 before the federal capital territory (FCT) court. Judge Maryann Anenih adjourned the case to January 29 and 30, February 25, and 27. She denied Bello's bail request, stating that the application was filed prematurely and requiring three sureties with landed properties in designated FCT areas.
