Xenophobia: Fela Durotoye reacts as police kill protester in Lagos
The attacks have angered many Nigerians who stormed various outlets of Shoprite, while calling for a boycott of South African businesses operating in Nigeria.
A protester was shot dead by police operatives at the Circle Mall, Jakande in the Lekki area of Lagos State, even as angry mob also set a police van ablaze.prevented the youths from breaking into the mall of South Africa-owned Shoprite. Durotoye described the murder of a protester as senseless and a push for hoodlums to destroy properties in the country.
