Xenophobia: Buhari’s aide makes revelation about Nigerians in South Africa
The former Ekiti Senator said this as Nigeria begins evacuation of citizens interested in leaving their host country. He said: “I have heard of the plan by Air Peace to go to SA and evacuate Nigerians. Like seriously?
“This shows a lack of understanding of the situation down here. “I am here in SA. I am not sure Nigerians here are in a hurry to leave. I am also not sure many see the need to leave. I visited a hospital here today and met many Nigerian doctor and health workers. “They are busy carrying out their legitimate duties. I was in Mandela Square and was served at a restaurant by two Nigerians, they didn’t express any anxiety and neither did they feel under any pressure to flee SA.”
