In retaliate to xenophobic attacks on Nigerians in South Africa, human rights activist have vowed to occupy and shutdown all Shoprite outlets in Abuja on Wednesday.
Confirming the move, one of the protest leaders, Raphael Adebayo, said, “In response to the xenophobic attacks on Nigerians in South Africa, we have decided to occupy Shoprite in Jabi, Abuja, on Wednesday by 9:30am.” The latest attacks on Nigerians have seen to the looting and burning down of over 50 shops belonging to Nigerians.
