As the world commemorates the 2020 World Refugee Day on Saturday , the United Nations has said 79.

5 million people have been forcibly displaced worldwide as a result of factors such as conflict, violence, persecution and human rights violations.

Among the 79.5 million displaced people globally, UNHCR said 26 million were refugees, 4.2 million asylum seekers and 45.7 million were internally displaced persons, who fled to other parts of their countries.
