No fewer than 6,062 farmers in Lagos State have received agricultural inputs and production assets from the Nigeria COVID-19 Action Recovery and Economic Stimulus programme, a World Bank supported project.
Obayemi noted that beneficiaries were drawn from across the 20 LGAs and 37 Local Council Development Areas of the state. Obayemi said that the programme was designed to mitigate the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on poor and vulnerable households in the state.
