The Kano State Hisbah Board on Tuesday cleared the misconceptions surrounding the marriage by the woman who married her daughter’s former suitor in the Rano Local Government Area of the state.
He noted that the marriage was legal according to Islam, saying it was the reason the Hisbah commander in Rano LGA supported and took part in the wedding rites.
He maintained that the committee members were carefully selected, due to their vast knowledge of Islamic teachings and societal orientation.
