Woman docked for alleged stealing N297,000
The accused of no fixed address is facing a two-count charge of break and entry and stealing, an offence he denied.
The prosecutor, Sgt. Ayodele Adeosun, told the court that the accused committed the offences sometime in February at about 1a.m., at Tope Bus Stop, Ilogbo area of Lagos. Adeosun said that the accused broke into the complainant, Mrs Kingsley Uba’s cash office with the aid of a spare key.“The accused stole the sum of N297, 000, the property of the complainant; she was caught by the complainant and handed over to the police, “he told the court.The Chief Magistrate, Mr Patrick Adekomaya, admitted the accused to bail in the sum of N100, 000 with two sureties in like sum.
