The Minister of Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, stated that he experienced sleepless nights while ensuring Sim Fubara became the Governor of Rivers State. This statement was made during a reception hosted by the Rivers State Ijaw Peoples Congress in Port Harcourt.
The Minister of Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike , on Saturday said he had sleepless nights making Sim Fubara the Governor of Rivers State . He spoke in Port Harcourt at a reception organized for him by the Rivers State Ijaw Peoples Congress. Wike and Fubara have been at loggerheads since the latter assumed office as governor. Despite President Bola Tinubu's intervention, the rift between the duo has continued.
Wike said: “Who has Fubara made? All the things you see are people who are envious of our growth. They couldn’t do what we are doing today. 'These are people who we have defeated politically several times. If the opportunity comes again, we will defeat them again. “I have made an Ijaw man governor of Rivers State. God used us. All of us here had sleepless nights.
