Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, on Sunday lost his Special Assistant on Electronic Media, Simeon Nwakaudu.
Nwakaudu was said to have died at the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital on Sunday after a brief illness.
Wike, in a Government House statement issued in Port Harcourt by the State Commissioner for Information and Communications, Paulinus Nsirim, expressed shock over his aide’s death.He explained that his aide contributed immensely to the implementation of the New Rivers Vision. According to the statement, Wike, on behalf of his family, the government and the people of the state, condoled with the bereaved family.Nwakaudu had served the governor since his days as Minister of State for Education till his demise.
