Senate President, Godswill Akpabio and Rivers Governor, Siminalayi Fubara were in war of words on Saturday during the burial of the late Access Bank Chief Executive Officer, Herbert Wigwe, wife, Chizoba and son, Chizi. This was revealed in a trending video shared on X on Saturday.

Fubara, while giving his remarks at the burial had said: 'This one has to do with our political class, what is all this trouble all about. 'You want to kill, You want to bury, what is it all about.' Akpabio, while making his own remarks, went on to reply to the governor thus: 'What is the struggle all about? I will answer you. 'The struggle, we are not talking politics.

'So the woman who went with me, said 'your excellency, then don't wait for impeachment, just resign since there's nothing in it'. 'And he stood up and started punching the woman, and I told him, your excellency, don't punch her, she's telling the truth. There's nothing in the office that's why I want it, because you're too big for it. 'So your excellency Governor Fubara, if there's nothing in the struggle, don't struggle.

The folklore, which Fela entitled “Alujanjankijan” brims with the motif of greed and its implications. The hunger folktale goes thus: Long time ago, a very severe famine hit the animal kingdom, leading to intense food crisis. As against the predictions of diviners called to seek the face of divinities for solution, hunger continued to ravage the land, so much that the kingdom’s silos were completely depleted. Lion, the king of the jungle and the monarch of the kingdom, called a meeting of all known animals. After all, don’t the elders say, though “eat” and “become” are rendered same way in Yoruba lingual representation, what to eat occupies a higher hierarchical ladder than what we want to become?
