Later, during the BBC Pidgin interview, she provided additional details regarding the reasons she underwent the procedure: “You go just dey like yourself. You just be happy and say na me be dis, see as my shape dey,” she said, speaking about the perks of her plastic surgery. In response to a question about the procedures in 2020, Toke stated that she had just had her fibroids removed and wanted the curvy appearance to feel more at ease in clothing.
