Niger Delta Peace and Development Advocates (NDPDA) has urged the National Assembly to prioritise passage of the 2020 Budget..
Niger Delta Peace and Development Advocates has urged the National Assembly to prioritise passage of the 2020 Budget of the Niger Delta Development Commission, instead of the planned probe of the Interim Management Committee.
The group noted that the delay in the passage of the said budget is affecting the development of the NDDC mandate areas, and hampering critical projects that are germane to the fight against the novel coronavirus in the region.
“The NDDC 2020 budget is a budget for the good people of the region. It is a budget for the nine states, it is a budget for the development of our dear region, for the empowerment of our teeming youths and women.”
