“Over 75,000 confirmed #COVID19 cases on the African continent – with more than 27,000 recoveries & 2,500 deaths,” it said. The WHO African Region COVID-19 dashboard showed that South Africa, Egypt, Morocco, Algeria, Ghana, and Nigeria have continued to top the list of countries with the highest reported coronavirus cases.that another 193 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in the last 24 hours, bringing to 5162 the number of confirmed cases in the country as of Thursday night.
