The World Health Organisation (WHO), has donated two mini COVID – 19 laboratories to the Plateau Government.

World Health Organisation Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus delivers a speech on the opening day of 75th World Health Assembly of the World Health Organisation in Geneva on May 22, 2022.

Mahdi, who was represented by Dr Andrew Abiodun, said that the labs would enhance access to quality healthcare services by people in the state. He added that the laboratories would go a long way toward providing improved healthcare services to the people . Two Southwest socio-political and cultural groups, Afenifere and Yoruba Ronu Leadership Forum , have urged the Federal Government to, as a matter of urgency, come down heavily on all terrorists, kidnappers and their sponsors.
