WHO clears air on COVID-19 vaccine being for wealthy people
The World Health Organisation, WHO, has reacted to insinuations that the Coronavirus vaccines when available would be for the wealthy.
WHO’s Head of emergency programmes, Mike Ryan, assured that the vaccine when available will be for both the rich and poor. Ryan who disclosed this at an event on Thursday said: “And we need to be fair about this because this is a global good. “Vaccines for this pandemic are not for the wealthy, they are not for the poor, they are for everybody.”
