Jose Iglesias's 'O.M.G.' has become a rallying cry for the Mets but is it a chart topper?

On Friday, the song was finally released to a wider audience on all streaming services. The Mets celebrated the song’s release with a performance by Iglesias after beating the Astros 7-2.On Saturday, streamers began releasing where the song ranks on the charts. Iglesias would be satisfied to know that “OMG” is listed as the No. 1 Latin song on iTunes, ahead of Grammy Award winner Karol G.
“That was a special moment. That shows how tight we are. It shows what we are as a group,” Iglesias said. “And it’s a whirlwind, we’re just riding it one day at a time, and that’s what we gotta do right now.” Before this season, Iglesias hadn’t played in the big leagues since 2022 when he was with the Rockies. In 118 games with Colorado, the 5-foot-11 shortstop batted .292 with 33 extra-base hits, including 30 doubles and 47 RBI.
