California hasn't seen rain in over a month. How are its major reservoirs doing?

Shasta Lake, the state's largest reservoir, was at 54% of its historical average as of Feb. 9, compared to 72% last year, the California Department of Water Resources Oroville, the state's second-largest reservoir, is at 78% of its historical average, compared to 60% at this time in 2021. The moisture plume of an atmospheric river that brought historic amounts of rain to Northern California in October passed over Oroville, helping to replenish its supply.
