Gov. Wes Moore said he does not 'have time for foolishness' when asked to comment on false claims of DEI principles being involved with the Key Bridge collapse.
on false claims that diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives were at fault in the Francis Scott Key Bridge Collapse inwith Dana Bash, Wes Moore said he has more important things to focus on in the wake of the bridge collapse than clear up rumors that the collapse was based on policies that encourage workplace diversity. When asked what his response was to Republicans who have claimed the bridge collapse was based on“I’m making sure that we can get closure and comfort for these families.
“I frankly do not have time to be able to be dealing with anything else. I’m locked in, and I’m focused on what matters right now,” Moore said.. “Whether it is DEI or clown. They really want to say the N-word. But there is nothing they can do and say to me that is worse than the treatment of my ancestors. I am proud of who I am and where I come from.”
