Shehu Sani, former Kaduna Central Senator, has reacted to the ban of ten of Nigeria’s track and field athletes from taking part in the ongoing Tokyo 2020 Olympics in Japan.The Athletics Integrity Unit , which runs the anti-doping program for the sport, said the athletes failed to meet the minimum testing requirements under Rule 15 of the Anti-Doping Rules for ‘Category A’ federations.

He tweeted, “Nigeria went to Tokyo with a bitterly factionalized Athletics Federation of Nigeria AFN; now we have gotten the result of that division.
