The National Orientation Agency says Nigerians have remained peaceful despite the heated political engagements that trailed the general election.Abari said the non-existence of post-election violence defiled the prediction of “naysayers” that the polls would make or mar the country.

“Some naysayers have gone to the extent of describing the election as a make or mar event in our country.“More than one month after the elections, we have remained resolute on the path of peace and stability.” He encouraged politicians to dissuade their supporters from taking actions that may promote violence in the country.
