Faced with increasing competition, established businesses have overhauled their operations to respond to our demands as consumers for convenience and low prices.Many Australians are worried about their work: Of the tens of thousands of Australians who responded to the Australia Talks National Survey in March,What we want to knowWe want to understand how work is changing and the human cost of these changes, such as underpayment, income insecurity and unsafe work practices.
We are also keen to hear from small businesses about the impact changes in business practices are having on them. We also want to investigate the fitness of our workplace laws and the regulators who enforce them, and the behaviour of businesses as well as the organisations who exist to represent workers and employers.We are interested in everyone's perspectives on work in Australia, whether you are an apprentice, trainee or intern, an employee, contractor, manager or business owner, whatever industry you work in.
We want to hear from people from all over Australia and from all cultural backgrounds, whether you are an Australian citizen, permanent resident or visa holder.
