President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has called on Nigerians living abroad to shift their mindset towards success and consider returning to Nigeria to settle down.
The president made this appeal during a presidential town hall meeting with Nigerians in the diaspora held in New York on Wednesday.
“I want to give you a measure that will resonate with you. I was once a diaspora. What you have been through, I have been through it. A change of mindset is necessary,” Tinubu said. Tinubu also commended the efforts of out-of-school children, the healthcare program, and the need to eradicate poverty, saying Nigeria is a blessed country.
