Chukwuma Soludo, governor of Anambra, says Nigeria needs leaders who 'firmly believe' in the country.
January 5, 2023 11:05 PM
Speaking during the visit, Soludo said politics should not be a do-or-die affair, adding that despite the country’s challenges, Nigeria has what it takes to become one of the leading economies of the world. “As an itinerant people, we cannot afford to be an intolerant tribe. We have a popular saying that ‘Oje mba, enwe ilo’. My position is that everyone should be allowed to canvass freely and allow people to make their choice.“It’s a serious matter of where the country is and where the country will be in future. It is time for the progressives to begin to think of the ordinary person.
