Peter Obi, the 2023 presidential candidate of the Labour Party has said that Nigeria needs to create a safe environment where youths can thrive and achieve their full potential.
Describing Nigerian youth as the true engine of the nation’s progress, Obi said they are the architects of the future that every citizen envisions. “Yet, for a country where about 70% of the population is youthful, and where over 45% face unemployment or underemployment, we cannot afford the continued neglect of our youth. Investing in you through quality education, accessible healthcare, and support for entrepreneurship is the surest path to national transformation,” Obi said.
