The State Chairman, Christian Association of Nigeria, Kaduna, Rev. John Joseph Hayab, has alleged that Nigerians, particularly the people in the state

were battling with the government of bandits and the government legitimately elected by the citizens.

Speaking in an interview in Arise News TV on the release of the 28 abducted students of Bethel Baptist High School in Kaduna, Rev Hyab said the state government was not involved in the release of the kidnapped school children.

He expressed confidence that as the bandits have started releasing the students, the state government would help them ensure the release of the 87 students still in the hands of their abductors. He assured that arrangements have been concluded with Global Peace Foundation with the help of others to rehabilitate the children for them to come back to life.Rev. Hayab explained that for now, CAN was still concentrating on the remaining 87 students praying and appealing to the bandits to see the need to release them to their parents.
