WATER once covered the surface of Mars in the form of huge, raging rivers, a new study of the Red Planet has claimed, leaving scientists scratching their heads.
This complicates the picture for scientists trying to model the ancient Martian climate, according to lead author Edwin Kite, assistant professor of geophysical sciences at the University of Chicago."This makes a difficult problem even more difficult."
