WATCH: Heavy protest rocks Benin, Edo State over fuel scarcity via politicsngr
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that the demonstrators described the scarcity as artificial, and the hardship Nigerians are facing as unbearable, calling on authorities to solve the challenge.They made bonfires on major highways in Benin city.
Furthermore, they challenged the Nigeria Labour Congress and Trade Union Congress to rise up and live up to their expectations and put leaders on their toes. This newspaper learned that security operatives are converging to contain the situation before it snowballs into violent protests.
