The United States, US, President, Joe Biden has vowed to defend Israel in the ongoing war. Biden warned that Iran will not be allowed to succeed against Israel. Addressing journalists, Biden warned Iran against attacking Israel. Biden said, “We are devoted to the defence of Israel. We will support Israel.
We will help defend Israel and Iran will not succeed.' Asked about his message to Iran in the wake of the threat, Biden said, “Don’t”. Biden said he wouldn’t be able to reveal secure information, adding that his expectation was that an attack could come 'sooner, rather than later.” A US intelligence reports says Iran is planning to attack Israel in the next 24 to 48 hours.
According to Wall Street Journal, WSJ, no final decision has been taken on the planned attack which are being discussed by Iran's top leadership. WSJ said Israel is preparing for an attack on either the southern or northern part. 'The strike plans are in front of the Supreme Leader and he is still weighing the political risk,' WSJ quoted an adviser to Iran’s Supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei as saying.
