Walk programme: Varsity don shares benefits of healthy living

The “Walk for a Healthy Nation” is an initiative of the university which aims at encouraging healthy living among the academic community and the general public.

According to the university management, the event is scheduled to hold on Saturday, June 17, at 7am in Lagos. He added that regular exercise has proven to reduce stress, anxiety, and depression, while also improving cognitive function, memory, concentration, and equally contributes to cardiovascular health, strengthens muscles and bones, and helps maintain a healthy weight.
