Waleed Aly appears to have cheekily taken aim at his former co-hosts Carrie Bickmore and Lisa Wilkinson over their salaries before leaving The Project during an on-air panel discussion about pay gaps.
During an on-air interview and panel discussion about salaries and the gender pay gap, Aly seemed to cheekily take aim at Bickmore and Wilkinson's earnings while on the show, which were rumoured to substantially exceed his own.

Picture: Network 10.“Hughesy and I, who did a radio show together for 18 years, had never ever discussed what we got paid,” Langbroek said.
"Now, in show business we know that someone's got a high profile and whatever and all of that's fine, but this was the Hughesy and Kate Show that we had made together.Langbroek officially left the radio program in January 2019, and told The Project that learning about the pay gap changed her relationship with Hughes.Aly officially joined The Project team in January 2015 having previously made guest appearances on the show.
