WAEC: Bauchi releases guidelines for schools’ reopening
The Bauchi State government has scheduled reopening of schools for SS3 students writing this year’s West African Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination for Thursday, 6th August.
The meeting further agreed that all schools must make sure that all students respect social distancing rules and regulations in the classrooms, hostel and dining halls. ‘The state government will provide infrared thermometers to public schools while private schools are expected to provide at least one for themselves.
The stakeholders agreed that private schools may charge up to N500 only for the provision of basic COVID-19 requirements from each student.
