In a statement in Benin City, yesterday, the former governor of Edo State said the state House of Assembly plays a vital role in the decisions that affect the economic and social wellbeing of the people, adding that the governor “requires a solid majority to successfully discharge his responsibilities.”His words: “The presidential and National Assembly elections have come and gone and APC won.
“It has become necessary to make this strong appeal. Each time I am in Benin, I have observed an overwhelming consensus across all levels of the society that the governor has performed excellently in all areas of governance and that he does so with no attempt at self- glorification.
