Nigel Ng, famously known for portraying the character Uncle Roger on YouTube, has certainly made a name for himself in the United States. Apart from doing standup comedy and food reaction videos as his alter ego, he is adding another title to his resume - restaurant owner.

In a YouTube video titled, 'Uncle Roger Miss Anthony Bourdain', Nigel wanted to pay tribute to the late American chef Anthony Bourdain, who passed away in 2018 at 61 years old, by re-watching an episode of his popular travel documentary series 'Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations'. Throughout the episode, Uncle Roger commented on the places and food the late culinary artist tried in Malaysia.

You're probably thinking, 'Wasn't there already an Uncle Roger's restaurant in Malaysia?' and the answer to that question is both Yes and No. There were restaurants opened at Sunway Giza and SS2 Petaling Jaya named Uncle Roger’s Restaurant and Bar but they were not actually owned by Nigel Ng. The brand later changed their name to OZZIE’s Cafe and Bar before eventually closing down for good last year.
